Regular Maintenance and Replacements
I recently got an 06 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro with a manual transmission and 95k miles on it and seems to have been very well kept under maintenance. As far as I know the car has had its 75k mile service, brakes and rotars changed, control arms changed, valve cover gasket, and drive belt along with other overall inspections. He mentioned that the timing belt was gonna have to be changed when the car reaches 110k miles. Im just trying to see what other maintenance i should do to keep the car running as smooth as possible. Im wanting to change the oil every 5k miles. Also would adding an oil additive along with every oil change hurt the car at all and what additives are recommended best for the car if any? This is just to see what other maintenance i should keep in mind for every certain amount of miles. Any info would be appreciated very much. Thanks!
