Reverse lights help

3.2 Dsg reverse light are not working, dash says “right reversing light” back checked and changed, fuse checked any idea what next?

Phas....Likely the reverse switch. You will need to research its location (I have no 3.2 nor dsg). Most likely on the transmission shift linkage under the hood . A common issue with VAG vehicles. Good luck, Haya

I keep seeing things about it but can’t find any pictures or exact details, seems to be a common problem but not many answers to it 😢

Check down there where the shift linkage meets the trans. Use a good light.
Have someone shift it into reverse and out again as you look..

Bending the tag at the base of the bulb upwards might also help get better contact with the bulb. Overtime a little arcing and reduced spring pressure can cause intermittent or no contact.

Yeah tried that, it’s the live wire going to it but somewhere between the Dsg box and the bulb holder or the Dsg stalk itself, turning into a nightmare
