Rough running

I've an '07 with low miles and experienced problems wice in two daysin COLD Minnesota weather. The engine ran real rough, the following lights were illuminated: EPC, traction control, check engine, and low oil pressure. Dealer said ice buildup in drain valve caused it and nothing they can do about it. Anyone else have this problem or can you suggest anything? Thanks.

Drive it really hard and long

and get it really hot. Will help to get any moisture out of the oil to help prevent freezing.

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion, but 20 minutes to work. The second time I had the problem, I'd driven for 40 minutes. How much driving is necessary? I do not believe that the moisture should build up. Owned Mercedes and BMW with same driving habits and never a problem. Had the oil changed, but that does not address the problem of moisture buildup in the first place.

Found a TSB for ya

There is a new TSB (#2017076/1) that I found regarding your issue. Audi calls for a new oil pump pickup strainer and to make sure the software is the latest and greatest (the same as the I3 update). Hope this helps.
