Stasis SS, Tein Basic, or Spring/Bilstein

Stasis SS, Tein Basic, or Spring/Bilstein
Ok Stasis SS is awesome obviously but can I tell a difference over the Tein Basics? On top of that both of those are in the 750-1000 range before install which is a lot. I'm thinking especially compared to Tein I could get a Bilstein Neuspeed (let me know if you recommend any better shocks or springs) setup ($500 installed). So confused, because with the extra money I could do some other mods including APR and wheels and Tires.

Depends, what you after
Alot of people go overboard with suspension.
Much of what you see is for competition use.
Do you want to do local events like SCCA-SOLO?
Are you just looking for lower ride height because of wheel / tire change?
How stiff do you want?
First thing you should consider, is fully adjustable shocks can be a b*tch to set up, without some kind of support.
Maybe best to go with a pre-matched set up?
If you just change springs, and they are too stiff, stock shock rates will be off.
Goes around and around... if it helps, I have tried H&R springs, too tight for me.
Going to try Eibach this weekend.

The best thing to do is go to a local event and test ride in a few cars with different setups
I currently have the Neuspeed/Bilstein set up on my B5 S4 and I think it's pretty darn good for the money. I had to change out my Bilstein shocks after 90K and they backed their product 100% with their warranty....so all it cost me was the shipping for a new updated set.
But to each their own when it comes to setups. I'm thinking about votgland coil overs for my new A4... there also around 1K.
If you want to save yourself some money... to change out a suspension is pretty straight forward with normal tools and a spring compressor.

Don't scrimp here...
I would get the Bilstein PSS9 coilover if I was you. The StaSIS sport package, Tein, and the Neuspeed/Bilstein package will leave you unfullfilled. Trust me. Yes, the PSS9 or StaSIS tracksport is more expensive but way more worth it.

PSS9 has dampening adjustability..the StaSIS street sport doesn't
So...you can adjust the ride quality with the PSS9s...from 1-8 setting...I have mine on 6 in front..4 in back..(1 being the stiffest setting)
StaSIS tracksports do have adjustments..the PSS9 and tracksports, IMHO, are close in comparison..with the StaSIS motorsport being THE kit to get if money were no object.
