Default Trip Computer Display
Need a little help here and can't find what I'm looking for in the owners manual. How do I set my trip computer to be the default display on my dash? Right now the display I get is the abbreviated gps/nav info indicating what street I'm on, but I have to go through the menu with the stalk to bring up the trip info. I've got a 2006 sline with all options.

Default You need to disable the compass display feature through the NAV setup menu.
I can't remember the exact steps but consult the NAV manual.

Default Do you get that info w/o Route Guidance being active?
I don't. Mine defaults to trip computer unless I'm using Route Guidance.

Default I have the same issue, but couldn't find the solution in the manual....
.... do you know what page? I didn't see the option when I poured over the manuals when I first got my car.

Currently I have to manually change it to the trip computer every time I start the car.

Default Fix
Bring up the Nav screen and then press the SetUp button below the screen. It gives you a box to check off next to the Compass field. That should do it.
