Xenon Headlight Issue
I am having an issue with both my headlights on my 06 A4. They are constantly flickering. I have had both bulbs replaced now at my cost. And still have the flicker. And the lights also go out at times and I get a dipped headlight error or another error that is not in the manual...I belive it is adaptive light indicator. The dealer can not reproduce it nor do they see the flicker. The computer is not recording the error messages either so they refuse to do anything. Has anyone had the same issue and did they tell you the exact issue and how to fix it? They told me if I replaced both bulbs and still had issues Audi would replace the headlights for me but now they are going back on their word.

I think there's a TSB on this issue.
I had the same on driver's side lights and it was fixed by the dealer. I'm not sure what they did but it seemed to work. The problem hasn't happened again in 8 months. My car is in the shop again for the same problem on the passenger's side this time.

Got mines (both sides) fixed not long ago...
Haven't had a problem ever since, however I became rather paranoid on making sure the're still working.
The only one thing I've notice is how they headlights seem to "vibrate" when driving on uneven roads. I would describe this vibration as bouncing off-beat than the rest of the car, as if the head units had their own suspension (do they?).

Thanks! Any issues with the new ballasts?
I haven't really had the flicker issue, but I suspect the dummy display about the dipped headlight is something with the adaptive lighting. Got it once on the track, haven't scanned for codes (don't expect to find any). I do notice the beam moves a bit over rough pavement. I'm wondering if something has worked it's way loose possibly causing the error? Has anyone removed the xenon headlamp assemblies and taken pictures? I'll search for it eventually, but got other things to deal with right now. Warranty is up in Feb, so I need to get to the bottom of these things soon.
