Very interesting. How much does the ACES IV cost per gallon? I was looking into future mods, and the ability to run a 100 octane map is a big plus.

I don't recall the cost of a gallon of ACES IV off the top of my head, but it is in the range of $200. That sounds like a lot, but remember that will treat 768 gallons. That works out to around $0.20/gallon to boost 91 octane to 100 octane. That is markedly better than filling up with 100 octane at the pump. I would suggest if you are doubtful, get a smaller amount and run it for a while. As I suggested, no one on the RS6.com forum who has run with the ACES IV has reported a problem, and if anything, our engines run cleaner than ever. Intercoolers are clean and plugs look pristine. Call them and talk to Brian.

I've E-mailed Brian back and forth a couple of times, but am still a bit cautious...

Do you have any logs or other data that would show the octane boost? I'd really like to see data on an Audi before I pay to get flashed to the 100 octane program. How much boost does the 100 octane map run on your RS-6? I'm thinking our puny little 2.0T might be working a bit harder than the RS-6 beast
