Adding Nav?
has anyone purchased, used, or know anyone who has used this item:

or does anyone read german and understand what its saying? does it replace the LCD with a touch screen one?
also does it operate on a seperate input and leaves the factory controls in tact? or does it highjack the display rendering factory controls useless.
I'm curious if anyone has tried this as it seems a lot more economical then retrofitting or having a dealer install of a navigation.

download it, google makes a website trasnlator! it will not traslate text in a picture but it will translate text.
i seen 1 person use it in zine, they do not have maps for usa ;-(
but it might just take them a little time to do.

i purchased it last week and it should get here in few days.
you DO get USA/CANADA map loaded (it's just SD card that has navigation on it. and software this company uses is IGO8. when you buy it, you just request for USA version).
the menu/interface has english options and touchscreen is enabled via having a extra glass panel that attaches on to the top of the AMI screen.
I also purchased reverse camera that has OEM trunk surround.
Only thing i forgot to order was DVD because i thought it would be cheaper to buy DVD player from US but in order to use touchscreen function, you have to purchase certain manufactuer's DVD (to play, FF, REW, etc. with touch function).
there is another member on audizine that has this and more information can be found in audizine since i rarely come to this forum
