alignment

Hello,
How often should I bring my car in for an alignment? I bought new tires 2 years ago and now I am replacing one of the tires, should I get an alignment?

Probably not. Tire replacements usually don't throw things off alignment wise. The tires you replaced--did they have uniform wear? If they wore evenly you should be in good shape.

Hello,
I took my car to firestone and they suggested I get an alignment, but I didn't agree to it, I wanted to ask around first. They told me the other 3 tires were in good shape.

I don't align unless there is a problem. My tires have always wore correctly. Keep an eye on them.

Yeah, modern cars are pretty good in terms of holding their alignment.

Dreamer, what happened to the tire you are replacing? Will the tread depth of the other tire (same axle) be within 1/8" ?
