Amplifier replacement
Radio/amp unit for that, in US/Canada market with sat radio support, should be 4G0 035 080 G, might also be seen as 4G0 035 082 G. Earlier revisions D and E are superseded, but should work fine. Your car would have come with a D or E originally anyway.
053 units lack the amp and the sat radio. 056 units lack the sat radio. So if really in a corner, you might consider a 4G0 035 056 unit (revisions E > G > J), but I can't say if it would play flawlessly (minus the sat radio) or not.
Keep in mind that whatever you source and install, it's not going to be functional until you take it to the dealership so they can bless your work for one hour labor (to remove component protection). Thank Audi for that.

Euro is so much more complicated. So MMI 3G over there comes in High (joystick on the big dial) and Basic (no joystick on the big dial); we only have the High option here. You also have the option of the basic sound system (8 speakers, no dash center or rear sub).
So if we presume the standard sound system (10 speakers, with center and sub, no B&O markings) and B8.5 MMI 3G:
3G Basic with DAB: 4G0 035 061 D > H > K > M > P
3G High+ with DAB: 4G0 035 061 E > J > L > N > Q
3G Basic w/o DAB:4G0 035 056 D > F > H
3G High+ w/o DAB: 4G0 035 056 E > G > J
So as noted before, a number of revisions over the years, but any of them should work fine, though they might need firmware updates, and will need component protection removal. Not really sure why the 3G Basic (BNav) and 3G+ High (HN+) need different versions.
