Battery weak?

Battery weak?
Looking for some advice... I took delivery of my 2010 A4 in Dec 2009. It was purchased as a showroom model. Not knowing how long the car had been sitting in the showroom, I asked before delivery about the battery condition and was re-assured that the battery were constantly being recharged.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have noticed twice hesitation when starting the car in the morning. In two cases, MMI also seemed to have rebooted (does it do that!?). The car is parked inside the garage and lately, it has not been THAT cold. I am in the Toronto area.
Would the dealer be receptive if I ask for a new battery? Last thing I want to happen is to be stuck outside in the snow with a dead battery. Can they easily run a test or pull a log that will show them the battery condition?
