DRL problems
I've got an 08 B8 with xenon lights and the curvy led strip.
The leds work fine when used as side lights and also when running with the headlights. I have turned the brightness up as it was only set to 8%.
Problem is I can't seem to activate them to run as drl. I have been in to check bit 4 in byte 2 of central electrics, and also activated the "drl selectable with mmi" option.
I get nothing in the Car menu other than the usual exterior lighting options and no drl working.
To test it i tried all the other options for drl: tail lights, fogs, headlights etc, but nothing.
Is there anything I need to do to as an overarching DRL activation?
Totally baffled, any help greatly appreciated.
PS the car was originally Japanese, interfacebox and other mmi components now switched out for euro spec.
