Default So just cuz I am new to the 2.0, is this the same as the B8 engine, just tuned different?

The pdf shows what I thought is the B7 2.0 with 201hp. I had thought that the 2.0TFSI in the B8 was actually a bit of a different engine. Again - I am new to this engine, so I apologize if I sound like a moron!

correct, the B8 version has Audi Valvelift which gives it 211/258 and better fuel economy

Default Good reading, any chance for 2009 3.2 doc?

Looks like both 2.0 engines share same bore, stroke, compression and casting materials. However, doesn't look like VW has valve timing on exhaust as others have already noted. Will be interesting to see what remapping can do on A4 version.

Default Along with the chain vs belt, better balanced, etc.

The fuel pump is now driven off the exhaust cam not the intake as noted in that PDF
