Yes, of course it is possible.
Here are the instructions of grill swap for A5/S5. It is more or less similar job to do with A4's:

If you take a look on the thread above, you can see that the entire bumper is removed for grill swap.
However, it is also possible to replace the grille without removing the bumper. See these instructions. Unfortunately they are in German language.
Perhaps you can try to translate it with babelfish translator:

Once you have replaced the grille, of course you need to have the fog light trims also painted in gloss black, like this:
