Green Menu help
Hello, firstly, I know I've been foolish...but I went messing with the Green Menu on My 2015 A4 Ultra. Since then I lost the ability to reset my TPMS sensors, lost the parking sensor graphics, the clock, and climate control graphics on the MMI display screen.
Can some kind person, who has all these functions working, take photos of their current green Menu settings so I can mirror on mine? Hopefully this will restore what changes I have made.
It would only be under the Car heading and all its sub menus.
I have attached a photo or two of my interior.

You'd need info from a B8.5 MMI 3G+ person, so can't really help there. But hopefully you learned, never change anything in software without first recording your initial settings.

ah we never had an " ultra" in North America as the TDI never went in the A4 as far as I know over here.
Good luck , smac and DrGer are pretty good on here

@Briano95 Good advice to tread carefully in the Green Engineering Menu (GEM).
First, can you check the long coding of the MMI main unit (J794) with VCDS or other VAG-aware diagnostic tool. Many of the long coding options have to do with enabling/disabling various menu functions; reference here: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...nd-Adaptations
Next, you might tease out some of the settings for your RHD A4 from this reference I posted in December: https://www.vwvortex.com/threads/201...rence.9492207/
Now, I haven't (yet) done the experiment of disabling, say, the menu for displaying the VIN (Byte 10 bit 1) and comparing the result with changes to GEM menus /car/carextdevicelist (ON), /car/carbusassignment (1/9), and /car/carmenuoperation (7), so I can't say for certain how long coding affects the GEM and vice versa. --g

@drgertol thank you for this. Your thread has helped me. Firstly I mirrored your settings and it still did not work. Then I noticed there was one menu I had that you did not list. It was called carprotocallswitch.
I went into that menu and realised all the sittings that were not working for me were checked. I unchecked all the boxes and now everything works for me.
Thanks again for your help and everyone for their comments. My lesson has been learned.

@Briano95 Now that's interesting about the /car/carprotocollswitch menu being all unselected. I see now that's the only native screenshot from the /car section I didn't take, likely because it's all unselected and not so interesting by itself. Next time I'm in the GEM, I'll get these and note your observation. Cheers --g
