Audi has the AMI (Audi Music Interface) which is available as an option.
Generally the real MMI differs in that:
The controls are located under the shift selector - and the "brain" of the system is located in a rack on the side of the trunk. This is then connected to the interior of the car with fiber optic cables...
They look the same to the user, but the way they work is very different. Audi kept their front ends similar to each other to keep things uniform between models...

you might be better off just getting a memory card.
AMI is: Audi Music Interface that, when equipped, is located in you glove box and is used to interface your ipod/iphone with the radio...
