Long Codes for Window Remote Up Down Feature
Hi
My dealer is nice and said if I can get the long code and the section for his VAS system, he can do the remote window control with the fob.
does anyone know where I can get them. I found the Ross Tech vag com ones, but he said those don't tell him much

That's strange. Last time I looked, the VAG unit and Ross-Tech's VCDS weren't all that different. Getting to the correct group, etc uses different menus in both, but once you're there the IDs should be the same. Anyhow, haven't seen the latest dealership version, so might require some help from someone with Bentley access to decifer the menus and locations better.

Funny now the heat is here I wanted to open the windows and sunroof on my 2010, pulled out my "key" and realized I didn't really have a key anymore. I always used to do it the with the actual key on my 06... I know this can be modded, but it seems like a drag if the dealership is going to overwrite it anytime I go in.

I went to the dealer to try to get this done too but they need the long coding too so if anyone here has or can help with getting the long coding for the window up and down using the remote would very appreciated.
