P2015 code

when I got the 2009 Audi A4 Quatro, it ran very rough, and had too many codes to name. I noticed a huge vacuum leak and after reading about the lever arm failure on the intake, I purchased a intake manifold lever arm fix kit from ECS tuning. I stopped the vacuum leak and I cleared the codes, only to have the P2015 code return, but the car runs pretty good now. I know it needs a new Intake, but my question is, will it hurt the motor driving it in that condition?

P2015 means the load flap actual is not matching load flap specified within the allowed time window. The best thing would be to log those two measuring values and see what's actually going on. They should be 0% below 3k rpm and 100% above 3k rpm. There's also a basic setting for the load flaps in case your below is close but not quite aligned. Mine was around 10%, which was close enough for error codes. But I did the basic setting to adapt the 0 point and now it shows near 0% as expected.

Plus, if the P2015 is coming and going, had that before it finally broke open like yours also did. There was no drive issue, and it only showed up after several hours of Interstate steady cruising. But, you should log the data and get a view on the actual going on before deciding it's worth ignoring.

You might have carbon build up interfering with the movement of the flaps. I checked mine lately and noticed the arm moved fine, but it wasn't what I would call smooth, and had a bit of "crunch" noise in the motion.
