Replacement fog light lens?
Hi all,
This is my first post on this forum. I've been a lurker for a few weeks, and just recently (12-Mar) picked up my first Audi - A 2011 A4 Premium Plus Quattro, Quartz Gray, Tiptronic. Needless to say, I've been loving every minute of driving my new baby.
Unfortunately, yesterday my heart sank when I noticed that the passenger-side fog lamp was cracked! I'm assuming a rock with very bad intentions (and very good aim) bounced into it sometime in the last week or so, because it wasn't cracked last weekend when I washed it.
Anyway, if I take this back to my dealer, are they able to replace just the plastic lens, or is it a sealed unit where they have to replace the entire fog light assembly? How much am I looking at to get this fixed? Also, if this is available from an OEM supplier, Is it something that can be done "DIY"? (I have pretty much zero handyman ability, so any DIY solution would have to be as easy as replacing a light blub).
