Just not sure what you are trying to accomplish. Whoever is visiting these forums and still has an A4 probably loves the car. Whoever didn't has probably sold it. So you are basically addressing potential buyers and since your voice is a very small minority, you are probably losing your time, unless you enjoy venting a bit.

Look i dont care how you prefer to characterize my motives. I am offering an earnest opinion for the op. it is up to everyone to judge for themselves what they want to believe.

This comment shows that you have no idea what you're talking about. If your are experiencing creaks when pulling into driveways, you've got a busted suspension. It has nothing to do with structural rigidity. The B8 body is extremely stiff. From my experience, the B8 does not exhibit any more flex than the F30 3-series.

and the burden of proof is on you. at least my claim has the iihs offset crash test videos to back it up (see how much the safety cage gives in vs other cars)
what evidence do you have to support your claim that it has no more flex than the late 3 series, other than your opinion?

anyhow i find it amusing that the moment a critique is made about the b8, three forumers suddenly fly in to asassinate character (calling troll) but little effort is spent refuting my opinion itself.

For example, I used to have a scion tC at some point and that thing had creaks like yours. It had a glass roof and was obviously not as rigid. It turned out there was a rivet or something in one of the corners of the roof that was systematically not done correctly at the factory and they issued a TSB for that. I never went in to fix mine.
I recall someone on this board had an issue with a chassis bolt that caused unexpected sounds. I forget if it was snagitsteven or nickzag. Do a search.

That just makes your original statement even more silly. It's the sunroof hinges that are creaking, not the roof itself! Since you brought up IIHS, the A4 received the highest possible roof strength rating. It's not physically possible for your roof to creak when turning into a parking lot.
