using the e-brake while in drive...

I know this was mentioned here before and I've done it several times before - while in drive at a complete stop, engaging the e-brake and then it automatically disengages when I press the gas pedal - however, today when I did this the e-brake didn't release and I got a message telling me to manually release it...what gives?

It wont automatically disengage if you arent wearing your seat belt.

OH! good point, I was playing with it in a drive-thru haha seatbelt was indeed off!

Just be glad that they didn't implement an ejection seat feature instead of the warning.
