Wheel cleaning tips?

Simple Green
I personally have always used simple green, full strength. It takes all the dust and grime off quickly and easily,and the inside of the wheels and calipers also.
I bought a really cool brush for $4 at Autozone that is soft enough to not scratch anything, and works great getting in and out of the spokes.

A couple of years ago I found a car wash (Blue Coral I believe) that contained Teflon, and found that when I used it to clean my wheels, it delayed future brake dust contamination significantly. Unfortunately, I ran out and haven't found it since.

check out "poor boys world" spray and rinse wheel cleaner. this thing works great. fyi... dont try mixing it over new kitchen counters. of course with all wheel products best to test on small area first.
+1! Armor all wheel protectant. i stock up each time i see it at the local parts store. these two product realy work.
now anyone know of a spray on wax, no scrubing?

One of the challenges in cleaning wheels is getting the inner rim surface clean. This will sound strange, but I use Swiffer brand dusters for this. They're non-abrasive and hold soap well. They're also thin enough to get in between the brake calipers and the wheel even if you have minimal clearance. I can usually get three of two or three uses out of each sleeve. Check them out... you might even have them in your broom closet already!

I've heard great things about the Sonax wheel cleaner but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Best wheel cleaner that I have experience w/ is P21s gel. Stuff is amazing as long as it's the gel kind and not the normal spray.

Once you get them clean, try Detailer Pro wheel glaze to protect from further road contaminants and brake dust. It really does work as advertised.
