Default Wheel math help...

I posted this over in the Allroad forum but didn't get any replies. Thought I would post here as it is a little more active and pretty much the same platform. Anyway, I found a set of Enkei wheels in my mom's garage with some worn-out snow tires on them came off of a 2012 beetle. Obviously the lug nut pattern is the same. The center bore is 72.62 with a 57.10 hub spacer I can pop that out and put in a 66.6. But what I need help with is the offset which is 50 mm and I understand that's too high for the b8.5 allroads so I want buy some wheel spacers and longer lug bolts to make these work. I wanted to ask what size wheel spacers and wheel bolts to go with? The 2016 allroad has a stock suspension on it. This setup would be for winter snow tires only. Thanks in advance.

The stock 18" on the allroad is ET26, so you're looking at a 24mm spacer to move the wheel back out to its normal position.

Let's also clarify that this will bring the centre of the rim/tire to it's designed position. If the width of the rim (or tire) differs from the original, the outside of the rim/tire will move with half the difference.

Same size rim as stock, this is as close as I can find, would these work?

You've made no mention of the rim diameter or width. Those look like they should be fine, but they are only 20mm, so you're ET50 becomes an ET30, which means the wheel center will still be 4mm inboard vs stock. The stock wheels for the B8 A4 allroad, at least in the US, are x8.0", be it 17", 18", or 19". If your rim is x8.0", then the outer and inner edges will be 4mm more inboard than stock. But if your rim is x8.5", then the outer edge will be 2mm more outboard than stock, and the inner edge will be 10mm more inboard than stock. Extra 1/2" inboard probably won't matter, but these are the kinds of things one would want to validate first hand.

Smac... I should have emphasized a bit more in my last post I said same size as stock but it was kinda lost in the post. They are 18x8's. Thanks for the help. I may just get new summer set up and use stocks for snows.

Sorry, I've reread the opening post several times and see nothing in it that implies the size of the rim. You mention stock suspension, but that implies nothing about the wheel.

Yeah, if it had been an A4 sedan or avant, where the stock rim is 18x8.0 et47, the wheel would be a much easier fit. But with the allroad using a much lower et to push the wheel out to match the plastic cladding, it's a harder fit to match. 25mm spacers for that setup seem uncommon. And I myself would get better matched rims than use such a large spacer, not out of any particular experience, just because I would.
