The ABS system sounds like it just needs to be bled by a mechanic with the proper equipment.

Good luck!

Doesn't sound like an ABS problems, sounds like a problem with the braking system as a whole. If you're not getting braking forces, ABS certainly isn't activating. If pumping the brakes helps, then it's likely air in the lines - ask the mechanic to properly bleed the brakes after changing the fluid.

This will not show up on a scanner.

(Actually, ask a *different* mechanic. This is brake maintenance 101 - I wouldn't trust a mechanic that couldn't bleed the brakes, and obviously didn't perform a test drive, to do any more work on my car)

last week the mechanic came, the car didn't start, after several hours we found the brake light switch together with the master cylinder ad the car start, we tried test the master cylinder loosing the pipes that came for the master cylinder to the abs and press brake, very low pressure, i order a new master cylinder, the reason that suppose made the master cylinder damaged was a few weeks the pipes was loose and have no brake fluid then the seals dry and damaged, sound right??? lets see when the new piece arrive.

Nope. Still the problem. I change the master cylinder bleled the brakes scan the car nothing solve it. The problem its you cant shift from parking due when you press break said "please press brake to shift" or something like that. Means the sensor its not sending the signal to release parking to drive or reverse or neutral.

This problem is usually caused by the brake light switch. In most cars this is a mechanical switch mounted to contact the brake pedal arm just above the pedal. That is where I would start.
