Launch Control
I commute in LA and rarely have a chance to go fast. But today I remembered we have launch control, pulled off on a side road, and let it rip. I was pretty impressed how quick it scotted off.
In case you don't know:
Turn traction (ESC) completely off: hold the button down till it says "off." Put trans in "S". Stomp on brake for 1 second with left foot and then press gas down - it quickly holds at ~3000 rpm. Dump brake and away you go. It won't work for a bit afterwards - computer wants drive components cooled down between launches.
