Default Windshield washers mis-aimed

One of the windshield washer jets (the one farthest to the left/driver side of the car) is aimed very low, hitting the glass only about 3” from the bottom. I have looked under the hood several times and cannot find the washer jets/tubes to even see if they are adjustable in terms of aim.

Anyone have any helpful information on finding them and adjusting them?

Thanks

Hey, I think I remember you from the A6 C7 forum! Looked at mine & the jet removes from the hood - just use one of those plastic trim tools. I suspect that the jet is partially clogged, causing the jet to not spray where intended. Or, perhaps the jet is not seated in the plastic hood liner, causing a misalignment. If you decide to clean the jet be sure to remove the hose from the jet first. Don't want to push debris back into the hose that would just find its way back into the jet. Let us know what you find.

Hi
Yep, I used to have A6's, but with no one but me to drive around any more the A4 works fine.
Thanks for your advice. I'll take a look again in a while but I checked out a lot yesterday and couldn't see any jets on the hood liner, but there were 3 round plugs/clips on the driver's side. Do I have to remove these to get to the jets? I couldn't see any tiny hole where the fluid might be exiting, so I'll start the car, leave the hood open, squirt some fluid and see what's up I guess.
I'm getting older every year and things that were a simple task a few years ago now take a lot more. lol

Here's a pic of my driver's side washer jet assembly. I just pops out of the hood liner.

I had this from day one in my 2017. It’s a design flaw and cannot be fixed by adjusting the jet. It either hits the hood or is too low. They may have changed the hardware in newer model years but at least in my early 2016 build it cannot be fixed.

That's what a neighbor told me today. He has a 2019 A4 and like mine the pressure is great, but the one stream is aimed right at the bottom. The other stream on the driver's side goes way up high since, as I said, the pressure is there. I do not believe there is a blockage because plenty of liquid comes out with force, it is just aimed right at the bottom and this does not seem to be adjustable.
Thanks to Avaitor6 though for the photo, it helped me decide what's going on.
