B9 A4 Track Results
I'm a new member here, so why not share a brief summary of results from our last track day on the 23rd right?
We were on track for the 1st time in 2019, Jan 23rd, and with some improvements to the B9 A4.
ECS Tuning Intercooler Kit: I chose this kit due to the complete package undercutting competitor prices, and the fact that some of my higher output Audi buddies seem to love and swear by ECS made products. It paid off in dividends, in SoCal I suffered heat soak almost each session on each track day. This kit eliminated the issue, and we made sure to test the **** out of it. Instead of going into 4th and maintaining acceleration on the straights, I kept the car in 3rd and on full throttle (maybe 10-11 seconds per straight) while it would bounce against the redline. I did this for maybe 4 consecutive laps on a warm day, NO HEAT SOAK! Biggest problem in SoCal heat has been resolved!
034 Track Pack Sway Bars (with spherical end links to complete the kit) and Street Density trans mount:
These are the newest performance modifications we added to the car (treating the intercooler as more a solution vs performance). No change to alignment (-2.9° Front Camber; -2.5° Rear Camber. No toe adjustment.) The car rotates into turns much better, considering we were running worn Michelin PSS (5-6 heat cycles + 5k road miles), and my lap times still imroved, an average of 1.3 seconds for all logged laps. Fastest lap of the day was 1:37, with an average of 1:40.4. The car felt like it was on highly magnetized rails. The mishap of the day was a complete screw up on my part, lifted out of a corner and almost sent it into a dirt mound.
Who else loves to abuse their car? 35k KM on the clock, since May 2017, mostly canyons, mountains, and track time. 11th Audi, most heavily modified I've ever owned! (Current Garage: 2017 6-speed A4 Quattro, 2018 SQ5 Quattro, 1997 A4 Quattro 1.8T)

It looks like you dented the intercooler? I wonder if there is any test data on the ECS intercooler? How was the fitment on the intercooler? Did you get the ECS charge pipes? The price on the ECS intercooler definitely has an attractive price point versus the larger name brand name competitors. Comparing to the APR intercooler, the ECS has a shorter but thicker intercooler core. The frontal surface area is smaller but the volume is much larger.
Are you also running the 034 intake? Any other mods? Last time we spoke you stated RS7 coils and plugs.
What tire size are you running?

Spoiler stays on all the time, the car is only tracked and driven on Sundays. She's practically a garage queen lol, lots of downforce when parked

Yup, an unfortunate installation accident. I haven't logged any data with the intercooler but can confidently say it has eliminated heat soak. I would get heat soak after a few laps on WSIR and would need a 10 minute cooldown each time, so I ran with the intercooler for the first time for a whole 30 minutes without heat soak. 2nd session I ran the whole 30 minutes while staying in 3rd and running the engine to bounce on redline on the straights and a couple corners, still no heatsoak.
Got the whole kit with charge pipes, and according to my tech the install wasn't too bad, just some maneuvering of the metal pipes around the engine bay from the underside to position properly. I have a wide array of mods, I will find the display plaque I made for Winterfest on Feb 9th, and upload here shortly. Tires are 245/40 18
