Default Rear diffuser help

Hello all

I would like advice about the compatibility of fitting aftermarket rear diffuser to my 2018 B9 1.4tfsi S-line. My S-line has a single exhaust (photo below), and I'd like to replace the rear diffuser with one that has an exhaust on both left and right sides (the right one would preferably be a fake exhaust tip moulded into the diffuser. Does anyone know why this Rear Diffuser Audi A4 B9 2016+ Look RS4 ABS - Tuning Carbon Hoods isn't compatible with my S-line?

Does anyone know which model of B9 pictured below, has that type of rear diffuser, and if it would fit the B9 2018 S-line pictured above?

You have the B9.0 rear bumper covers, and you have the B9.5 rear bumper covers. The spoilers for one do not fit to the other. You have a B9.0, so you need to make sure the spoiler of interest is for B9.0 era.
Within each era, such as B9.0, there's typically the standard bumper cover and the sport bumper cover (used for s-line and S vehicles). Like B9.0 vs B9.5, the standard vs sport spoilers are, normally, not interchangeable.
We can tell you have the sport bumper cover because it has the trim cover between the rear reflectors. The B9.0 standard bumper is just a molded painted surface there.

So you have a B9.0 sport (call it "s-line" if you want) bumper cover. So whatever spoiler is for that, should work with that.
If you look at the example picture in your link, we see that's clearly the standard bumper cover. So that spoiler is for standard cover, not sport cover, as the description text already states.

Thank you so much for your reply SMac770, and simplifying the compatibility of bumper/fender trims.

You'd have thought fittings on upper bumper (fender) would be manufactured to accommodate all versions of diffuser, so they can be swapped to suit the individuals taste (providing that the correct exhaust is installed, and no parts like adblue tanks are in the way).

Can anyone recommend a rear diffuser that would directly fit the A4 sport? A diffuser that has two exhaust tips (one being fake), like in this link Rear Bumper Valance Diffuser Exhaust Tips suitable for Audi A4 B9 8W (2016-2018) Sedan Avant RS4 Design (carpartstuning.com)

Does anyone know if the rear diffuser for the A5 B9 Estate (sport models), will fit the A4 B9 Saloon (sport models) ?

And equally, will A4 B9 Estate rear diffuser (sport), fit the A4 B9 saloon (sport)?

Speaking strictly about B9.0 through MY18 (before the integrated tailpipe finishers look):
There's no reason to believe the A5 stuff can interchange with the A4 stuff. The A4 uses 8W0... spoilers; the A5 uses 8W6... spoilers.
The spoilers are not body type specific. So the A4 sedan and wagon use the same 8W0... spoilers. And the A5 coupe and sportback uses the same 8W6... spoilers.

Thank you (again!) SMac77

With regards to the integrated tailpipe finishers (which I assume is the tailpipe finishers that are built into the diffuser?), would this diffuser be compatible to fit the B9.0 MY18 sport?

Through MY18, there were the standard and sport bumper covers, with their own spoilers, all designed around normal exhaust tips. For MY19, the standard bumper cover was dropped and only the sport bumper cover was used (speaking only about the rear, of course).

So the MY19 S4 continued as it was, sport bumper cover and spoiler for 2+2 exhaust tips.
But the MY19 A4 changed spoilers to the integrated tail pipe finisher look. They all used the sport bumper cover, with lower spoiler 8W0 807 521 either Q, R, or S. rev S was the s-line one. They are all dual sided outlet. The S has a little more styling to it. Looks like that blue picture in your opening post is the rev S one. So should just sub right into your existing bumper cover, after you address the exhaust situation.

No idea why there's no pic for that page. But here's the pic:

The upper image is the >MY18 exhaust with the 1-left outlet with exhaust tip. The lower image is the MY19 exhaust with the dual sided outlets and the tail pipe finishers which slot into the spoiler openings.

No idea. Simply demonstrating the difference between the parts involved for your MY18 configuration and the MY19 configuration that was used with the integrated tail pipe finisher spoiler. So if you're looking to go with the integrated finishers, you need to sort what you'll do about the original tail pipe. You might cut back some and just mount the finishers 24 and 25, leaving the right side with nothing behind it? You'll just have to go with something, get it in hand, see what you're actually dealing with and what conflicts actually require resolution.

Now I know exactly which versions of diffuser to look for, the type with the built-in false exhaust tips are out of my price range. My other option is to bolt on a false exhaust tip to the right side of the car. Does anyone know how these types of tips can be bolted to the car?
