RVC Basic Setting / Calibration
Greetings from Manila, PH! This is a great site that I have been monitoring and was basis for buying an Audi. This is my first post!
I have a 2019 Audi A4 and retrofitted with the Rear View Camera (RVC) kit from Kufatec. I was able to successfully install it, it shows an image, turns on in reverse but when I did a scan on OBDEleven, it reported an error saying that the camera is missing basic settings. Further investigation implied that it needs calibration, so I went ahead and printed the 700mm x 1900mm 12-dot camera calibration map and tried use OBDEleven to calibrate. OBDEleven reported the process to be unsuccessful so I fiddled with the app longer and saw that under long-coding, there are numbers relating to the size of the car, distance of the axles, height of the suspension etc. etc., can be manually entered. As these are not simple measurements using a ruler, does anyone know what information needs to be entered for the A4 B9? Would appreciate anyone with a B9 and OBDEleven take a screenshot of CONTROL UNITS (6C) relating to the Camera System Rear View. Thanks!
