Service Interval Reset
Sorry if this has been discussed in the past (nothing comes up when I search) but is there a procedure to manually reset the service interval warning?
Many thanks.

Tools mentioned by me, yes they connect to obd port, but they are not free, OBDeleven is cheaper and you can use it with android or IOS phone via blouetooth.
With this tools, you can do full diagnostic of car, change many useful things in your car 's config, they are not just for resetting service interval.

This situation is really bugging me. I don't see why I should pay Audi to reset my Service Interval Notification (SIN) and I anticipated an argument when I talk to them.
Does anyone have any tips what I can say to them to convince them to reset my SIN for free? ... I live in Australia and these kinds of Anti-Competition practices are technically not legal here.
Also, this car is well out of warranty now and I'm quite capable of servicing it myself.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated ;-)
UPDATE .... Are we talking about "ODBeleven" or actually the old standard of "ODBII" (ODB2) ?
Also, where is the ODB port on my B9?

You're new to the business run automotive industry, I see. Oh, Aussie. You might have different standards down there. As such, call your dealership and ask. If you disagree with them, take it to wherever Aussies take their legal disagreements. But yeah, the car makers are very much in bed with their real customers, the dealerships, and could care less about private owners.
The OBD port (just sound out "on board diagnostics" to remember it's OBD, not ODB), implementing the OBD-II specifications, is under the dash along the outside edge of the car (right side for you down there). Look for the purple plug about 2cm x 4cm.
OBDeleven is cheaper; VCDS is better. But VCDS requires a Windows device; OBDeleven operates on Andriod, and at a lesser functionality level, on iOS.
Damn, your prices suck down there: https://www.autoequipment.com.au/ind...product_id=165
I wonder if just buying from the US (~$260 AUD) and shipping it would be cheaper. OBDeleven didn't have an international distributors page, so I assume they'd just ship it there.
ODB was a rapper.
I wasn't aware that it's an old standard - was it superseded by something?
Owner's Manual, page 25, at least in the US. Also the same place it's been in every car I've owned - YMMV.
