hydraulic cylinder leak for top
I have a hydraulic oil leak on the drivers side at the convertible top mechanism. It is leaking out onto the rear quarter. Looking for information on how to replace the cylinders. Dealer says it is the cylinders that slow the top down. any help would be appreciated. 2005 A4 3.0 quattro, cabriolet

I had the same leak. I sent my cylinders off to Top Hydraulics and they rebuilt them and had them back to me within less than an week. They were so helpful and answered all my questions by email always the same day. The cost is only $110 per cylinder as long as the rods are rust free but even if they are rusted they charge more but still worth it. Check them out.
