Ordered it ...
Where are you based, and when is it due?
What colour dash did you go with?
I can recommend the heated seats by the way, potentially more useful in a Cabrio than heated mirrors...
Ari.
I know I didn't order them, but don't know if I have them. Used to have a Rover YEARS ago that had them and they were active as soon as the ignition was on.
Must still be unclear with the dealers too, as my Salesman phoned up yesterday asking if I had them. He had a customer who was undecided about ordering them.
On my last car it was during damp misty conditions when the car had been left parked and the mirrors had "misted" over that they were evident by the speed at which they cleared the glass. Actually even then it wasn't that obvious until one stopped working and one mirror cleared quickly and one didn't!
Ari.
I would suggest that you try other dealers for a demo. Where are you buying it from as Wayside MK did have a 2.4 demo car? Depending on where you live you could try the dealer in Bedford or Autohaus in Northampton.
I find the performance more than adequate and the sound of the V6 is superb, plus it's super smooth.
I am still running mine in, but I am amazed at how well it pulls away especially when others seem to think it's 'gutless'
Incidently from what I have read the 1.8T seems to be no more economical than the 2.4 - that at the time was my only thought, but I'm pleased with my choice.
Don't forget all said and done the Cab is a cruiser :-)

By your own admission don't you drive like a pensioner??
Quote "Well over the weekend a work colleague past me on the M27 and on Tuesday morning she was calling me Miss Marple :-) Think it could have been something to do with my speed - or lack of it, in fact I know it was !!!"
Based upon that admission how can we give credibility to your comments about the power of the 2.4? What you need is an electric milk float with an Audi badge on the front :-)

Can't argue with the smoothness though - even the mags reckon it's smoother than the 3.0 :-))
PS reckon the milk float would be too loud after the quietness of the cab !!!
No wonder the woman thinks you are Miss Marples. Reminds me of the phrase "all dressed up and nowhere to go" somehow. Just tell her that you've only got a 2.4 in a car that weighs as much as a small armoured vehicle. That may gain back some of your credibility with her but I doubt it.
By the way the 3.0 is extremely smooth as well. Only noise when accelerating is the increased rattle from the sun visors :-(
