Adaptive Light Error
This weekend whilst up in Tahoe I got this icon light on the dash/mmi message. Never seen it before and after restarting the car later and the days since it doesn't come up anymore.
Thinking about ignoring it as a minor glitch, but, though to ask if anyone else had this happen and if there was any specific action at this point.
Did a quick search for this error and really couldn't find anything for the later A6's though older Audi's seem to have had this problem quite a bit.

Which headlights do you have? LED or HID? If HID, I assume the warning is alerting you to a problem with the swiveling headlamps. You should run a scan with Vag-Com or other OBDII scan tool to see what the fault is indicating.

Roger that. I've evidently got Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights according to my window sticker. I guess I was hoping that people were going to say "yeah, that happens sometimes no biggie" aka being lazy. Anyways, I'll scan it with the VAGCOM and report back.

So this error came up about 6 more times and one other message that I cannot recall about the headlights not operating correctly. Always intermittent. So I made an appt and here's what the work order says:
"Cause: Lane assist module failed internally. Verified complaint scanned system for faults found multiple faults j769 communications failure. Contacted audi, advised to check wiring and wiring to modules. Verified OK, contacted audi tech line advised to replace lane assist module"
Parts replaced: 4G0-907-566-D CTRL Unit
