I don't like the back at all. I walked a dealers lot last week and thought the same of the 2015 A8....I don't like the update on it either. And why do they feel the need to copy the rectangular exhaust tips like BMW, Lexus, Cadillac, Buick, and everyone else has?

The Acura MDX started with round pipes, then oval pipes, then rectangular pipes and finally hidden pipes.
If the new Audi's are moving towards a trend of integrated or rectangular tips then the brand new A3 has stayed with the ovals. Maybe the design divisions in a large corporation never talk to each other?

Another first drive/review (of German 2.0T version, but he says it should be very similar to the US version)

Does anyone know why the twin turbo TDI isn't part of the freshened models and if there are plans to bring it to the US? The bump for the TFSI is nice but that oil burner might get me looking???

I think the twin turbo TDI isn't approved for sales in the U.S. yet. It's a long and expensive process to get an engine approved. The other two have already been approved, so it's very easy to roll them out.

I agree - really can't believe Audi cheapened the look with the crappy rectangular exhaust tips.
