Audi road hazard tire and rim protection

Hey guys, does this insurance cover after market tires? The coverage paperwork does not mention after market tires at all. I dont plan to use the oem tires audi put on my car after the original set wears out.

Check with your insurance company, many sell road hazard at a more reasonable rate...

Apparently the plan I have administered by NIU of Florida (I live in MD) covers even aftermarket wheels and tires up to the value of the oem wheels and tires.

When I bought a mercedes at dealership..covered all tires. I confirmed. However never used the service in 4 years! Not sure if that is good or bad

Won't get it again since I'm not sure if it's worth it.
