Ceramic Pro coating
Anyone know of a place in NJ that does the ceramic pro coating. This is my first black pearl car and would like to have some sort of protection on it. Also the previous owner smoked in the car. I am trying to get rid of the smell, but on warm days I can smell it slightly.

Cant comment on the ceramic coating, but for the smoke smell you need to run an ozone machine in your car to get rid of that smell. You can rent them or higher end detailers have them. You could ask around your dealer/car rental place too as some dealers have them to deal with their used car fleet, etc so they could point you in the right direction.

There's also a product called Odo-Ban that can help deodorize as well. You can find it at the big box hardware stores. I'd be careful about what surfaces I let it touch but may be good to mist over the carpets.

I did quite a bit of research on Opti-coat and Ceramic pro. It was a tough decision but I like the glossy finish of the Ceramic pro. Although I am having a hard time finding someone who applies this in NJ.

They are both great products but I went with Opti-Coat as it doesn't need to be renewed every few months or so like Ceramic Pro. Also, I find the Opti-Coat gloss on my Quartz Gray A6 looks as good as the wax I was using. Due to its properties, other than adding a slicker feel, waxing isn't necessary. In fact, due to the high tension of the material, wax doesn't last more than a couple of weeks on the Opti-Coat.
