I'm working with Audi's online configurator. Since I live in Reno, I would like the cold weather package, but upon clicking it I'm informed that I must select either the 19" or 20" sport package. Of course these packages come with summer performance tires instead of the standard all-seasons, which makes no sense at all.
Is the configurator wrong, or is Audi just stupid?
I don't think there is an absolute answer to this question. The three dealers I worked with wouldn't/couldn't order the cold packagfe without the sport package. On the other hand they also had one or two vehicles on the lot with cold WITHOUT sport. Their answer to how that happened was that Audi had sent those cars to them that way, but they couldn't order them that way. Go figure.

Hm. Well, I guess I'll see if/when I order one next year. Right now my financial situation might change depending on what Congress does with tax law and other things in the near future.
