You should do the same 20% all the way around. Looks way better.

Unless you go darker, I have 5% in the back, 20% on the front and 50% full windshild.

i did 5% rear and 35% front. I would get darker for front but it could put me in risk in getting citation. In live CA so your state maybe diff.

Thanks for all the recommendation. Unfortunately, NJ do not allow any tint on the front windows. I think I will stick with 35/20 to be on the safe side.

You cold try 50% film. You can barely notice the film is on. The reason I recommend that is to reflect heat and UVA/B. reflecting the solar heat is a huge plus...

Good choice! I went 20% in the rear and 30% in the front. I went with IR Rejection Tinting.

Here are some pics of my car with the Tint:

Good reasoning, did they carve around the mirror so as to not affect the rain and light sensors?

Also, anyone who has rear tint, does it bother you that the hearing elements "raise" the film a little causing headlights from the rear to reflect more at night?

Quick anecdote... when I had my 2005 A6, I took it to a local tint shop that had been in business for a while, so I assumed they were reputable. anyway, they used a ton of the solution on the windows which leaked into the door pockets. In case you didn't notice, the door pockets are lined with a felt-like material, which naturally absorbed all of the solution that dripped down into it. I mean, when I picked up the car it was drenched in there. My car smelled for weeks! I've been gun-shy to go for tint ever since.

Might try putting some old towels in the door pockets before they do the job?
