Yes, at least the way I see.
I think it should have been standard on all the A6 models, or at least starting from the P+.
It delivers decent sound, but it lacks in base quite a-bit. Also, maxing it out isn't hard for me, I see the volume reaching 30(34 is max) when the windows and sunroof are all down. Something I do on a daily basis since I miss having a convertible. It's mostly highways here, so 80mph and over is my usual speeds.
Maybe I should have got a Shelby...
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, the "Prestigious" Bose system, isn't very fancy, it's mid-range.

My other car is a 08 Shelby gt500 red package convertible with the shaker 1000 system and it is much louder than the Bose and close to as crisp. The Bose really is a disappointment. I've had two acuras with Bose and one with the els DVD audio system. The els was by far the nicest and the Bose in the Acura was nicer than the audis system. One was a '99 and one was a '01.

Yeah I'm leaving it pretty much stock since the previous car I had a lot of work and a lot of issues

My order was a change in the system for what the dealer had already ordered - looking at the end of Sept/beg of Oct. I hope it is earlier! It will help cheer me up after breaking my leg and needing surgery!

My dealer gave me an estimated delivery date of October 15. I ordered at the end of April.
