^^ While I don't consider myself obsessive, I certainly do not mind taking care of the my expensive possessions, if it comes at such a low price. Who likes scratched up look and therefore would not mind taking a slighly better care, if it's not too much of a hassle. The case (like my case iPhone case) is not that bad an idea.
I take care of my stuff, whether it's an Audi or a $10 item.

The carbon condom looks nice though. But for looks, not for the protection it offers.
I cover for your iPhone makes sense since it can break. I cover a key fob will never look good. Period. Who wants some cheap grade embossed cow hide to cover something that usually stays in your pocket anyway. If it stays in your pocket and no one is going to see that tacky accessory then go for it. I looks bad though.
