LED Headlights Adaptive?
I'm new here and I recently bought an A6 prestige with the LED Headlights, super excited for it to arrive, but I have a question.
It seems current high end cars who have xenon headlights also have adaptive (meaning it swivels and what not.)
However, as much as I read about the LED headlights, it seems they are stationary, but change the configuration of the lighting depending on the situation. Is that true?
This questions is really more than curiosity, I live on the outskirts of Texas and I take winding back roads often, and something I hate with my current vehicle is that it doesn't steer the light, and high beams are a hassle with on coming cars.
Thanks in advance and I'm happy to be here.
The LED is not adaptive in that it moves the light around curves, it does turn on additional lights when you turn on the signal or are turning slowly.
But I will say this, you don't need it with the Audi, it just blazes thru the night like nothing you have ever seen with the LEDs.

The LED headlights on the A7 are not adaptive. Additional LEDs light up with you turn, those are called cornering lights.
