No front Plate!!!

I live in Arizona where we don't use front license plates, however my plan is to purchase this car and do it as a European delivery. I'm told that all cars there have to have front license plates to be legal in Germany and they won't leave the factory without a front plate in place, even though it will only be there for a couple of weeks or so.
Does anyone know if my car would then have to have some sort of front plate mount for use while in Germany that would then be something I can't remove once it gets back here to AZ to get that clean front grille look? Would I be faced with replacing the entire grille??

I ordered mine without a license plate holder code 6W9 (or at least that is what I thought) since I really wanted the chrome strips and clean look.
Came to find out from the salesman that when they placed the order they left that out. I told him I really want it and they are willing to install it when the car gets here. Now I am concerned about having to unscrew the bumper and installing the new grill.

I just had a look at the video fdot. Cool idea, but I have just one small reservation about it. It appears that the plate may be continously hitting the front of the car with road vibrations and such. It could take a toll on your paint behind the plate. Maybe there is a clear protection you could apply just like the clear bra.
