O2 Sensor Problem??

O2 Sensor Problem??
Hello all,
I was driving my 2012 A6 3.0T in sport, and when the car started to engine brake I had a check engine light come up. At the time, I had no idea what it was, luckily, I was close to home. I used my OBDeleven to read the code and it came up as an “O2 sensor pumping current trim circuit/open Bank 2, Sensor 1” The fault code is P262900. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue. I have cleared the code and only came back on when the engine is under the same engine braking load. Any advice would be helpful, I haven’t found much on the forums about this issue on c7 cars. When I figure out how to replace the sensor I will most likely make a video and make a post about it.

I ended up changing the sensor myself. It wasn't too hard, the job took about an hour. I'm pretty sure the reason for the sensor going bad was oil that dripped from a bad oil filter o-ring. So there are two lessons learned 1. always put a bag around the filter area when doing an oil change. 2. Alway make sure your new o-rings are seated correctly.
