Paint Code?
Hey guys! I have a 2016 A6 3.0T and I'm looking to buy some touch up paint and I'm having troubles finding the paint code. I've looked around in the manual and the spare tire cant see anything. I'll post my VIN incase anyone can help decode it.

VIN decode won't have it unless you reach out to Audi and get the original window sticker with the VIN then it will have the color printed right on it.

What color do you think it is?
Also if the option sheet is not in the spare tire well, maybe someone removed it and put it in the glove box?

Thanks guys! I'm getting my car paint corrected tomorrow and they asked me to get the touch up paint from the dealer so it can be an exact match. Car has a couple paint chips from rocks and stuff on the front end. Hopefully they have some in stock or else I'll probably have to postpone the detail.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, they are usually a two part kit with the clear separate. Since you are having a pro do it might not be an issue. I just find the two part can be difficult if you are not a pro, they will probably just build up and then polish down any bumps....which might work better...
I prefer Dr. Colorchip for a DIY project...No clear...not for large chips, and only really minimizes the appearance, doesn't eliminate altogether. Still, it worked well for me.

While I share your concern for the paint chips and wanting to cover them... sometimes using the touch up paint ends up making it look worse... unless you have the knowledge and know how to do that like a professional. Meaning not just throwing it on and let it be... maybe like paint, sand down a bit, paint again sand, then buff... alot of work for a few chips...
just saying... if the chips are big, clustered, or barely noticeable maybe let it be.
