Default Should I debadge the "Supercharged"?

Hi all,

I've worked out some numbers that satisfy me to lease this 2014 A6 Prestige in Phantom Black Pearl with Black Optic. When I pull the trigger the dealer will remove the "A6" and "3.0T" for me. I was wondering what you guys thought about having the "Supercharged" removed?

Right now I'm felling like I'm going to leave them. But it might be fun to have them gone. Anyone with pics of this, or opinions. Please share.

Here's a couple of iphone shots that I took while on test drive. Please ignore the trunk badges. They will be gone shortly. ...

I would keep the supercharged badges, remove the 3.0T and plasti-dip the A6. It's all personal taste and not many cars are supercharged.

I removed the 3.0T since it isn't Turbocharged and replaced it with a Supercharged badge. Like Tenspeed said, there aren't that many cars that are supercharged--And ours is one of them.

Agreed. I'm going to keep the supercharged and debadge the trunk. One thing that has bugged me about my C6 is how dirty the rear end gets and how hard it is to clean up around those letters on the trunk. That's another reason to debadge them in my book. I've never had buildup around the supercharged badge. I suppose that's due to the way the air flows.

Do whatever makes you happy. Everyone will have an opinion. Why debadge the rear in the first place? Stealth?

I'm not a fan of the side badges at all. I've left the S6 badge on the back but have removed the side V8TT badges. I think it would look better to remove the stupid side ones and take off the 3.0T on the back if you don't like it and replace it with a supercharged badge.

Mainly because I've seen it on others and want to try it. I wouldn't call it "stealth" as much as just "clean."

Is there a debadge thread with best know method to do this?

Very easily done. Get a length of Dental Floss. Run the floss back and forth and gradually drag it under the badge you want to remove. Use a little Polish or Alcohol to remove any residue. That's it.

Do a search on YouTube. There are lots of videos demonstrating how to do this.
