Hello, I have an a6 C8 with 3D advanced b&o, I suffered minor damage in rear left side of the car, after that I am having these weird noises from the apparently back of the car, I have tried changing the amplifier but same thing is happening. Apparently the wiring is also not broken. This noise happens few minutes after starting the car last for 30ish seconds and stops and then again starts after 10ish minutes and goes like that.
That sounds like subwoofer or amp noise. As I recall, there is a subwoofer (or amp) mounted over the spare tire, which is near where you took that hit.
Disconnect it and see if that humming sound goes away.
Also, that hit you took could have caused some sort of electrical short, or a ground wire could have become disconnected or broken.
with audio electronics - especially separate amplified audio systems....they are VERY susceptible to grounding problems. low level humming sounds like a grounding problem. does the sound come from ALL the speakers or just 1 or a few of them? from the sub only? Did this START after the fender bender? Sure sounds like a grounding problem to me. Make sure to check ALL the connections on the amplifier - input connections AND anything plugged into it. the impact could have jostled something loose and introduced the interference you are hearing now....
