17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor ADVICE
A little advice from the experts please, I have a 2001 A6 4.2 with 167k miles, no CEL but scanned with VCDS lite and found the following fault
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1114 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
After doing to quick research I realize it is the post cat O2 sensor, and some comments say to check the wiring and connectors first. A few questions for you:
1 - from the above can you tell if it is the passenger or driver’s side?
2 – I don’t have emissions tests in my state, car seems to run fine and no CEL, would this effect performance or MPG?

Leave it alone until the CEL comes up or emissions hits you.
