Default anyone else think pedals are offset to the right?

I was watching Tiff Needell's test of the Bugatti Veyron on Fifth Gear yesterday and when he said he thought the pedals were too offset to the right, it made me realize I'm not crazy in thinking that about the A6 too. Does anyone else find that? I was thinking it would be nice to have them moved to the left a bit. Has anyone here done it? Is it the kind of thing a dealership or some customizer (car-pimper) would do?

Here's a pic of my pedals and I've superimposed a green-tinted copy of them in photoshop in the size/position where I'd like them to be.

Default Interesting you say that, everytime my father drives the 6 this is his only complaint

I would have to agree with you that the pedals do seem a tad bit to far to the right.

Definitely, I basically use my pinky toe on the gas because the pedal is so far right

Default Hey, what are you all complaining about, my pedals are 4 feet to the right and I'm happy with that!

Default lol... You must have massive feet.

I wear size 13's, and I can still keep my foot centered on the pedal..

Default Typical FWD platform, wheelwell pushes pedals to the right...

...in cars where the front stick into the passenger compartment the pedals are usually offset a bit to the right, in RWD platforms where you've got a big transmission tunnel the pedals are usually offset to the left, just a matter of where there's room for the feet.
