anyone know where the P/N is on a 2.8 Throttle Body ('99 Tip)? Is it viewable? FAQ to remove?
going to be ordering one for my neighbor's A6 and want to get the P/N first (which Shokan also asked for) to be sure I get the right part.
I'm hoping just to look into the engine bay and be able to see it, but I recall it cluttered around the back of the engine. Anyone have a photo showing the location?

The TB is on the back of the intake manifold.. Not easy to get to...
Have you unplugged it, cleaned it, etc? Check this out.. Why I haven't converted this to tech is beyond me..
