There's a "spacer bar / bracket" that mounts right before the mufflers, and keep the two sides of exhaust at the right distance from each other and stabilized.

Small bar that links the two rear pipes...

...can be easily fabricated with some pipe tubing. See pic below (jack using the link bar to help raise the exhaust into place...car resting on jackstands)
